Mother India Educational and Cultural Charitable Trust
Mother India Public School, Kallara is run by Mother India Educational and Cultural Charitable Trust (Trust Deed 53-IV-2011). The Trust was founded in 2011 under the Indian Trust Act by a group of noted educationists, Dr. B. Raveendran Nair, Mr. M. Shajahan and Mr. T. R. Babu Chandran.
The chief objective of the Trust is to set up and develop educational infrastructure that offers quality education at primary, secondary, higher and tertiary levels that confirms to global standards by establishing colleges, schools, and professional educational institutions without profit motive.
The Trust aims at initiating and promoting educational activities related to career and employment development like vocational training, skill based training, screening for competitive tests for both public and private services conducted by state, national and international agencies.
The Trust also aims to promote and foster education among socially backward and economically poor strata of the society.
To realize the above objectives, as a first step, Mother India Public School was instituted in 2008 in the present campus at Kallara in Trivandrum district in nearly 3 acres campus amid lush green fields in a completely rural environment in Kallara, as part of Vamanapuram village in Trivandrum district. The school has now grown in to a senior secondary with an intake of nearly 550 students and more than 60 teaching and non-teaching staff. To cater to the rising educational demands of the region the Trust proposes to establish a school with International standards offering best quality education complete with comprehensive personality development in the region.
